A new album has (almost) come ...

So here we are again ! It was announced with some infos some time ago but now virtuality turns into real audio and .... the new production will be soon published (on Jamendo as usual) !!! So what still lacks to get green light and publish? Hmmm, just some small studio work (not that much, we re not THAT kind of hyper-studio guys endlessly reworking their stuff ). The deadline is mid December 2011 (!!) to come out fully on web being available to be downloaded, possibly played on your online radios, listened to on personal devices and - why not - included in some intriguing media productiions (films, ads, presentations etc) as happened so often with our latest album .

Hi guys

from all over the world. It is so much time we are not comunicating! A shame, really... and we can just blame ourself!! No particular excuses, some generic lazy mood if you want, or ... not that much to be told !

Anyway, here we are again with some good news for you all, above all those requesting new stuff and infos about the group. So first of all let's answer the all-time recurring questions: how u doing guys? doing some good new stuff ?

Ok : we have done some things in the last six months or so , above all concerning our 'theatrical dimension' : we have played extensively - in different Italian live happenings - our most recent 'Cuore di pietra' (heart of stone) show which tells the story of a mountain climber describing his many adventures and risks and his deep hunger for extreme heights. The play has been written by Fabio Geda who is a good friend of us and now a quite famous writer in Italy, above all after his best-seller publication gone top charts some month ago. So what happened to our group is that, after having stepped down the stage a certain while ago, we began to think about new recordings with some material which , in the meantime, accumulated and claimed to be disclosed to hungry fans!

Again : we were quite amazed (and grateful to all you guys who left some very interesting comments/insights on Jamendo) at how hot, enthusiastic and genuine were your comments on BBB audio files posted : and what is - by the way - even more amazing is that our popolarity is not decreasing among fans despite of this long long recording absence (last files were published in 2007). We have been positively hit by all those people deciding to use our music for their playlists, soundtracks, videoshows etc. It has been really a honour !!! Therefore, as always, stay tuned cause soon after Xmas - hopefully - we'l be able to deliver new materials for all you. Ciao everybody

Salve ragazzi ma che figata!!! E' passato troppo tempo lo so, e' passato piu' di un anno dall'ultimo post ma ora siamo qua e ce la raccontiamo un po' . Ale' !
Si ma non e' che nel breve blog che vado s scrivere io possa concentrare tutto quello che e' successo, no non e' credibile.
Quindi si va di selezione e dunque :
- qualcuno di voi ci chiedeva come va il nuovo batteur ... beh ragazzi funziona... funziona bene anche se non tifa Toro (ma neanche G**ve, che e' mooolto importante) . Che volete di +?
- siamo reduci da un concerto bello sabato 22 maggio 2010 al Mache' che ha appagato noi e il ns pubblico, concerto senza teatro. Davvero bello.
- ci hanno scaricati (nel senso del download) in tantissimi !! vabbe' che e' aggratis ma non e' mica automatico.. pensate che siamo tipo 56esimi nella classifica generale di Jamendo e dico generale, mica di solo jazz, come dire noi facciamo curling e ce la vediamo con gente che gioca a pallone. E ppero' ....
- Fabio Geda, nostro amico e scrittore preferito, e' ormai celeberrimo. Non come Dante ancora ma ci sta lavorando. Chi di voi ha sentito parlare di 'Nel mare ci sono i coccodrili' sa di cosa sto parlando. Chi invece si sta chiedendo 'coccodrilli ?' digiti il titolo sopra su un motore di ricerca e vedra' ..
- a luglio si suona come delle trottole, caldo o non caldo noi si gira su e giu' dai palchi e voi dovete venirci a vedere quindi stay tuned che prepariamo il calendario di date come su tutti i blogs che si rispettano
- last but non ultimo ci hanno inserito come colonna sonora in tutto quello che vi puo' passare per la crapa, dal tizio che si filma andando in skate a quelli che filmano paesaggi ecc. ecc.
- in ultimis se volete vederci in video in alcuni brani tratti dal ns concerto di sabato andate su youtube e digitate il nome del gruppo.

E cosi' e' andata! Mamma mia che bel concerto!! beh ne abbiamo fatti tanti ma non so perche' questo ha avuto un sapore davvero speciale... Sara' perche' la sala del Circolo dei Lettori e' davvero gagliarda e l'acustica e' notevole (era una sala da ballo, originariamente, dove roteavano coppie e suonavano valzer viennesi, si direbbe, dato lo stile architettonico ottocentesco), sara' perche' c'era un bel pubblico attento (e come dice il ns attore : per fare teatro bastano due cose : chi recita e chi ascolta), sara' perche' tra le persone del pubblico c'era il buon Fabio Geda ovvero l'autore del lavoro che abbiamo, sembra, fatto felice con questa messa in scena molto ripida e montagnosa, sara' perche' il tecnico del suono ci ha detto che, nonostante la sua abitudine ai recital per parole e voce, questo svettava per la splendida mescolanza di suoni che siamo stati in grado di (sof)fondere , sara' perche' c'erano molte nostre mamme, che anche se abbiamo una eta' da matusa ci seguono sempre come fossimo adolescenti (per cui ci stiamo convincendo che forse lo siamo ancora per davvero). Ma chi lo sa!! Insomma ragazzi peccato per chi non c'era perche' e' stata una grande prima e, si sa, la prima non si scorda mai...
Chiaramente la maggior parte del merito va all'ottimo Daniele Sala, che e' il ns attore e che alla fine dello spettacolo deve aver perso due tre chili sottratti ad una gia' esigua massa corporea !! Daniele ha recitato si ma anche scalato e quindi sudato e poi gridato e infine abbracciato la montagna come se fosse li'...
Ed era talmente intenso che meno male che c'era la musica. Quindi noi. Che, grazie alla acustica non comune (nessun teatro di quelli da noi conosciuti ne ha una anche solo lontanamente simile) , e' andata piu' lontano del solito.
I pezzi sono nostri. Sarebbe bello poterne postare qualcuno un giorno. Magari lo faremo. Ma prima postiamo le foto, che e' piu' facile e immediato.
Tra qualche giorno. Pazientate e vedrete.
